We are a blended family of four who love the outdoors and all the seasons NoMi brings. We have two pre-teen kids and recognize the importance teaching them to explore nature and get outside as much as possible. We have a passion for outdoor activities including boating, snowmobiling, camping and downhill skiing. When we first decided to explore the idea of purchasing a short-term rental, it was an easy decision to buy in an area that offered a plethora of activities for our guests. A large spring fed pond, heated pool, nature trails, downhill skiing, etc were all at our guests' fingertips. It wasn't long and we realized the demand for a stay in our area was seemingly endless. Our guests loved NoMi almost more than we did! One small home on a pond has turned to a few large homes on the lake. It happened slowly and it required many hours of renovations and late night work, but it's been worth it. Our latest project includes restoration of two 400 sq ft. lake front cabins. They're sweet and vintage. Nothing beats the breeze off the lake while sipping morning coffee on the porch. What started as a 'side gig' has turned into a full-time job for Brie. She was working as an ICU nurse and slowly converted to full-time real estate. In addition to managing our rentals, we offer the service to others. She also is a licensed Realtor, helping people to buy and sell homes as well as prospect investments! Will continues to manage the local credit union. Who knows what the future holds, but for now we're balancing it all very carefully. Our eventual goal is to own a place in the south so we can escape the long, cold winters. A very appropriate motto for this family is 'work hard, play hard!'
